Every year, Press and Media Week at School engages AEFE network institutions worldwide in raising students’ awareness of information literacy. This initiative, organized in partnership with CLEMI (the Center for Media and Information Education), aims to develop young people’s critical thinking skills toward diverse media sources and formats.
At the Lycée International Français de Taipei, this week will feature workshops, debates, and meetings with journalism professionals. Students will analyze current events, gain insight into how media operates, and practice journalistic writing. In the digital age, where misinformation spreads rapidly, it is essential to equip them with the tools to distinguish between fact and fiction.
Through this educational initiative, LIFT reaffirms its commitment to fostering informed and responsible citizenship, preparing students to become discerning readers and viewers in an ever- evolving media landscape.
