Updated Curricula for Better Learning: What’s New in 2025–2026

Starting in the 2025 school year, students at LIFT will benefit from new curricula for both primary and middle school, in line with reforms initiated by the French Ministry of National Education. These updates aim to strengthen core skills, foster student autonomy, and better prepare learners for the challenges of the modern world.

In primary school, the new programs place a strong emphasis on mastering French and mathematics through a structured and gradual approach, while also promoting interdisciplinary projects. Artistic, scientific, and physical education have also been redesigned to spark curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning.

In middle school, the learning pathways will become more personalized: students will have opportunities to reinforce their skills through targeted support or enrichment programs, particularly in math and French. Moral and civic education will be enhanced, as will education for sustainable development, building on our school-wide initiatives.

These changes will be implemented gradually and will be supported by training sessions for LIFT teachers. They reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education that remains faithful to the French national framework while embracing the realities of the 21st century.
