This week, students at the LIFT took part in the Kangaroo and Koala Math Contests, two exciting challenges designed to stimulate logical thinking and make math fun.

The Kangaroo Math Contest, aimed at primary, middle, and high school students, features a series of multiple-choice questions that test logic and problem-solving skills. Created in France in 1991 and inspired by an Australian model, this contest now engages millions of students worldwide each year. The problems are adapted to different grade levels, offering a playful and stimulating approach to mathematics.

Our youngest students also participated in the Koala Math Contest, a simplified version of the Kangaroo contest, specifically designed for kindergarten and early primary students. Through logic games and illustrated challenges, this contest introduces children to mathematics in a fun and engaging way.

Our students took on these challenges with enthusiasm, discovering that math can be both exciting and enjoyable. The results will be announced in the coming weeks, but we already congratulate all participants for their curiosity and dedication !
