Rather than immediate punitive measures, this method encourages empathy and gradual self-awareness, helping all students involved \u2014 perpetrators, bystanders, and victims \u2014 to become aware of their roles.<\/p>\n<p>Through individual meetings, a responsible adult (teacher, counselor, or staff member) speaks first with the bullies, not with accusations but with a \u201cconcern\u201d for the victim\u2019s well-being. This encourages empathy, leading students to willingly change their behavior. The victim is also listened to, to understand their feelings and needs.<\/p>\n<p>By involving each student, this method fosters both collective and individual awareness, making everyone a participant in the change process.
