Our Pricing Policy<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Affordable school fees are at the core of LIFT’s identity.<\/strong> This is a subject of the utmost importance for the founding parents, and we know that it is for all of you too. Along with inclusive governance and truly multilingual education, it is one of the main reasons that gave birth to the project.<\/p>

The scope of this pricing policy can be divided in the following four priorities:<\/p>

1. Accessibility<\/strong><\/p>

LIFT aims to be accessible to as many people as possible<\/strong>, and to represent a schooling solution for all the French-speaking and Francophile communities of Taipei, based on values that reject elitism and self-serving biases.<\/p>

LIFT does not receive any direct financial subsidy from the French government<\/strong>, although it must be emphasized that our establishment could not have been created without the continuous and unconditional support of the French Office in Taipei and our parliamentary representatives. LIFT does not receive any financial subsidy from the Taiwanese government, although here too we would like to emphasize the fundamental role of the city of Taipei.<\/p>

Therefore, the economic model of LIFT is that of a business, where resources consist of tuition fees which will finance all the initial investments, operating expenses and development investments of the establishment. LIFT is a non-profit organization that does not depend on any private investment, nor does it reward any shareholders.<\/strong> Our investments are mainly financed by the French-speaking business communities in Taipei, by institutional and private sponsors and partly by the discount schemes offered to families able to pay tuition fees in advance. In other words, LIFT\u2019s economy is based on the search for financial balance and not on profitability. Our strategy is to maximize the quality of the educational service provided for tuition fees set at the lowest level necessary to achieve financial sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>

This level of school fees has been determined according to :<\/p>

  • The desire to ensure a high standard of education for our students. For us, less expensive does not mean lower quality.<\/strong> We believe that at these fee levels, we can fund welcoming facilities satisfying high international quality standards and highly qualified teaching staff, for fulfilling learning experience that brings out each student’s full potential for success.<\/li>
  • Our desire to guarantee an affordable level of tuition from the first year and stability over time<\/strong>, while financing medium term investment needs.<\/li>
  • Solid guarantees from our financial partners<\/strong> that allow all parents to feel confident about the financial sustainability of our establishment over time.<\/li><\/ul>

    2. Visibility<\/strong><\/p>

    We know that education is one of the largest items of expenditure for families. Like any expense, predictability is just as important. By joining LIFT, you can be assured that fees will remain stable over time<\/strong>, with an annual increase voted by the LIFT Board where parents are largely represented, which reflects the inflation and educational project voted by the educational community itself.<\/p>

    3. Transparency<\/strong><\/p>

    Our principle of transparency is applied here by providing each family with access to LIFT’s annual financial report, informing them of the precise use of each NT$ received<\/strong>. As a LIFT parent, you know each year the exact overall breakdown of each item of expenditure in which your school fees have been invested (premises, teaching and support teams, etc.), and, in the event of a surplus, the reinvestment projects voted by the LIFT Board for the establishment development.<\/p>

    As parents of LIFT pupils, you have a say in its management, and are part of its governance. In addition to receiving accurate information, you have the opportunity to influence the financial and investment decisions of your establishment.<\/p>

    4. Solidarity<\/strong><\/p>

    Even at levels well below the other international schools in Taipei, we are aware that these fees represent an expense that is not always affordable for everyone. Therefore, we are working with the French Office in Taipei and the AEFE to ensure that French government scholarships are made available as soon as possible<\/strong>, and we are planning to set up an internal solidarity fund dedicated to financing scholarships<\/strong> so that LIFT can be the most inclusive establishment possible.<\/p>

    For the school year 2024\/25, French families can contact the French Office in Taipei for more information on scholarships of the French government.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Tuition fees<\/strong><\/p>

    4eme (Year 9) will be offered in 2025-2026 to ensure continuity of education for pupils registered in 5eme (Year 8) in 2024-2025.<\/i><\/p>

    Tuition fees do not include catering, establishment transportation and extracurricular activities.<\/i><\/p>

    LIFT staff full-time administrative and teaching staff are exempted from tuition fees to register their children.<\/i><\/p>

    Registration fees<\/strong><\/p>

    51,500 NT$<\/p>

    This one-time fee covers the costs upon registration of a new student. Applicable only to a first registration at LIFT.<\/p>

    Siblings<\/strong><\/p>

    \u201cSibling\u201d is defined as a dependent of the same parent(s) or legal guardian(s). This includes biological siblings, step-brothers and half-brothers.The following discounts will be given to families who have 2 or more children attending LIFT at any one time. Any other discounts applied, will be calculated after deducting the sibling discount first.<\/p>

    • 1st Child \u2013 No discount.<\/li>
    • 2nd Child \u2013 10% discount.<\/li>
    • 3rd Child \u2013 15% discount.<\/li><\/ul>

      Payment terms and schedule<\/strong><\/p>

      All tuition fees must be paid by:<\/p>

      • Semester 1: End of April.<\/li>
      • Semester 2: End of December.<\/li><\/ul>

        Individual payment plans can be offered.<\/em><\/p>

        Refund policy<\/strong><\/p>

        • If a student is withdrawn within the first month of any semester, 75% of the student\u2019s tuition fees will be refunded.<\/li>
        • If a student is withdrawn within the second month of any semester, 50% of the student\u2019s tuition fees will be refunded.<\/li>
        • No refund will be granted if a student is withdrawn after the second month of any semester.<\/li><\/ul>

          Late entry<\/strong><\/p>

          • If a student enrolls within the first month of any semester, 100% of the student\u2019s tuition fees will be required.<\/li>
          • If a student enrolls within the second month of any semester, 80% of the student\u2019s tuition fees will be required.<\/li>
          • If a student enrolls within the third month of any semester, 60% of the student\u2019s tuition fees will be required.<\/li>
          • If a student enrolls within the fourth month or fifth month of any semester, 40% of the student\u2019s tuition fees wiIf all be required.<\/li><\/ul>

            For students joining during the academic year the tuition fee for the relevant semester must be paid at least 10 working days before they start enrolment. If the student starts establishment within 10 days of enrolment, tuition fees must be paid the day prior to commencing.<\/p>

            Semester 1: August the 26th 2024 to January the 24th 2025<\/em>
            Semester 2: February the 3rd to June the 20th 2025<\/em><\/p>
