Naturally, parents play a pivotal role within the LIFT community.<\/p><p>The LIFT association operates as a non-profit association under Taiwanese law, with all parents of enrolled students automatically becoming members. The annual membership fee is collected alongside tuition. Additionally, the association welcomes external members whose expertise can contribute to the establishment\u2019s development.<\/p><p>Each family holds one vote within the association, which elects its own directors and supervisors\u2014a governing body overseeing the establishment\u2019s development. The association convenes at least once a year to approve various matters, including the annual work plan, reports, budgets, and financial statements. This structure encourages parents to actively participate in the establishment\u2019s development, offering their knowledge and skills by serving as directors, supervisors, or members of various sub-committees of the Board.<\/p><p>The association serves as a platform for expressing the needs, objectives, perspectives, and proposals of all parents. It acts as a guardian of LIFT\u2019s vision, ensuring daily and long-term adherence to principles such as accessibility, transparent and inclusive governance, and the representation of diverse educational needs within the community.<\/p><p><strong>The Parents\u2019 Club<\/strong><\/p><p>The parents can also actively engage in school life through the Parents\u2019 Club, which organizes activities throughout the year. These initiatives aim to strengthen the bonds between parents and the LIFT community while supporting the establishment\u2019s educational projects. For instance, parents participate in workshops and assist in organizing events such as a Christmas market, beach clean-up operations, and educational or sports outings. The Parents\u2019 Club also serves as a resource for addressing questions and welcoming and supporting new families.<\/p><p>We would be delighted to have you join us!
